Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains transparently how i-2, through i-2.gr, processes personal data. Processing is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Greek Law 4624/2019 and other applicable Greek legislation.
1. Data controller
The controller for this website is i-2. For privacy matters, contact [email protected] or call +30 695 195 6034 / +30 694 355 1523.
2. Data we process
Through the contact form we may process your first name, last name, email address, phone number, company, service, package or module of interest and the message you choose to submit. The website and server may also record technical information such as IP address, date and time of access, user agent, requested URL and security-related data solely for secure operation, abuse prevention and technical diagnostics.
3. Purposes and legal bases
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Responding to a request for services, quotation or potential cooperation | GDPR Article 6(1)(b), steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract |
| Handling general enquiries and business correspondence | GDPR Article 6(1)(f), legitimate interest in business communication and administration |
| Website security, spam prevention, malicious activity detection and diagnostics | GDPR Article 6(1)(f), legitimate interest in information-system security |
| Analytics or advertising technologies, when enabled | GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and Article 4(5) of Greek Law 3471/2006, only after prior consent |
The “I have read the Privacy Policy” checkbox is an acknowledgement of the information provided and is not relied upon as the legal basis for responding to your request.
4. Recipients and processors
Access is limited to i-2 personnel who need the information to handle your request or support the website. Hosting, email, network or technical-support providers may also process data as processors or independent controllers depending on the service and applicable contractual arrangements.
5. Transfers outside the EEA
The basic contact-form operation does not itself require international transfers. Where third-party services such as Google technologies are enabled after consent, international transfers may take place under GDPR-compliant mechanisms such as adequacy decisions, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable, or Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Retention
Contact data is retained only for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry, continue any resulting professional relationship and document relevant correspondence. When no related purpose remains, the data is deleted or access is restricted unless longer retention is required by law, contract, taxation obligations or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Technical logs are retained for a limited period according to security needs and the hosting provider's policies.
7. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection to processing based on legitimate interests and withdrawal of consent where consent is the legal basis. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise a right, email [email protected]. We may request additional information only where necessary to verify your identity.
8. Supervisory authority
You may lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority, 1-3 Kifisias Avenue, 115 23 Athens, through its official website dpa.gr.
9. Security
We use HTTPS, access restrictions, security headers, Content Security Policy, CSRF protection, honeypot and rate limiting for the contact form, together with server-side validation. No security measure can guarantee absolute security, but technical and organisational measures are applied proportionately to the nature and risk of the processing.
10. Automated decision-making
Contact-form data is not used for automated decision-making that produces legal effects or similarly significantly affects you.
11. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when our services, technologies or legal requirements change. The latest revision date appears at the top of this page.
