How much does a professional website cost in 2026?

What determines website development cost? When does a €99 one-page site make sense, what do the packages include, and which additional costs should you plan for?

There is no universal website price

The cost of a business website depends on the number and complexity of its pages, languages, content preparation and functionality. A compact company presentation is a different project from an online shop, a booking platform or software with ERP integrations.

Compare offers based on their scope: page count, languages, forms, SEO basics, hosting, maintenance and whether you can edit the content yourself. A headline price without these details is hard to compare.

What a website starting at €99 actually includes

The i-2 Express Starter costs €99 before tax and provides one complete page in two languages. It includes responsive design, baseline technical SEO, a contact form, content preparation using business information supplied by the client, and free hosting for the first year.

That entry price is possible because the scope is fixed: one page, a defined process and no content-management interface. It does not cover an e-commerce platform or a bespoke application.

What about additional pages and languages?

Express Business costs €199 before tax for up to five pages in two languages. Express Business 3 Languages costs €390 before tax for up to five pages in three languages, while the four-language option costs €490 before tax.

These are the public i-2 Express package prices as of October 2026, not a general estimate for all websites or a fixed quote for custom development.

What happens after the first year?

Hosting is included at no charge during the first year. From year two, annual i-2 hosting charges before tax are €50 for Starter, €70 for Business, €90 for Business 3 Languages and €120 for Business 4 Languages.

Domain registration and renewal are not included. Hosting with i-2 is optional: a compatible static site may be moved elsewhere. Always clarify domain ownership and the cost of later changes before placing an order.

When does a business need a custom quote?

Online stores, complex appointment systems, payments, member accounts or third-party integrations need additional analysis, development and testing. They are not part of a standard Express Website.

Similarly, businesses that must edit content frequently may benefit from a different technology and management model. Choose based on how the site will be used, not merely on the lowest advertised price.

How quickly can the website go live?

Express delivery may take up to five business days after all required material has been provided and the scope has been agreed. The delivery clock does not begin with the first enquiry.

To start efficiently, identify the services you need to present, your audience and the action visitors should take: call, submit a form or review your work.
